Trinity Kitchen - Leeds

On our second weekend in Leeds, a new food court opened in the Trinity Leeds Shopping center in the city center. It was sort of big deal, because there was no food court in the city center.  And this is by no means an ordinary food court. There are about five permanent counters including Thai, pizza, Chicago BBQ, a champagne bar and a Chipotle style Mexican place called Tortilla. They also feature 5 food trucks that have been lifted into place and these change out monthly. One of the trucks featured Chicago hot dogs. They serve alcohol and have a live band playing, so it really gives the place a bar atmosphere.

On the Saturday night we were there, we ate at Tortilla. The food was very good and the beer was ice cold. Like Chipotle you can choose from 5 different fillings and then have them as a burrito, a bowl or tacos. I had the chicken tacos or Dos Tacos (4 pounds .50) and they were awesome. Dan had a steak bowl or Naked Burrito (5 pounds) and enjoyed his as well. We both enjoyed an ice cold Mexican beer. This is a great addition Leeds and we will be back to sample all of the other food.
